In Denver at the
Colorado Veterans Monument
Veterans, families, and the general public of all ages will again celebrate Memorial Day at the state capitol with a parade, extras, and a sit down holiday ceremony at the Colorado Veterans Monument.
• 9:30am - Wreath Placement at the Monument altar stone by VFW 2461
(Public wreaths are announced & welcome)
• 10:00am City & County of Denver’s
Memorial Day Parade
• 11:00am (after parade)-Memorial Day Tribute at the Colorado Veterans Monument
The parade review stand and Tribute are at Broadway & Colfax
The Tribute ceremony includes a poignant Tribute to Colorado Heroes killed in action, with emphasis on those lost since last Memorial Day.
